TON

Bystřice pod Hostýnem is the oldest place in the world where furniture is still produced according to the principle of its founder. It was Michael Thonet, who in 1861 began producing bentwood furniture under the brand Thonet. In 1953, the company name shortened to TON. To this day, TON is a manufacturer that combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary trends. Products are exported to more than 60 countries and have been awarded with many prizes, such as the Red Dot Design Award and Interior Innovation Award. In the current development of new models TON cooperates with well-known Czech and foreign designers.
